Launching of website of UFTARA

The Uttarakhand Film, Television, and Radio Association (UFTARA) has launched its official website. The website was inaugurated by K.S. Chauhan, Nodal Officer of the Uttarakhand Film Development Council, during an event held at the Council's auditorium in the Information Building. Addressing the gathering, chief guest K.S. Chauhan stated that this website would prove to be a significant step towards promoting the film industry in Uttarakhand. Suresh Bhatt, Assistant Officer at the Uttarakhand Film Development Council, attended the event as a special guest. Appreciating UFTARA's initiative, he remarked that the digital platform would provide a new direction and identity to the state's film industry. UFTARA President Pradeep Bhandari stated that the new website has been designed with a multi-dimensional approach. It will host information about artists, technicians, producers, and directors from various regions of Uttarakhand. Additionally, essential information regarding film production and shooting in the state will be easily accessible through the website. He noted that this platform would help organize the state's film industry and strengthen it digitally. Association General Secretary Kanta Prasad explained that through the website, filmmakers and directors from across the country and abroad would be able to access information—with just a single click—regarding Uttarakhand's film infrastructure, the government's film policy, the Film Development Council's activities, and new shooting locations in the state. This will help establish Uttarakhand as an attractive destination for film shooting. Several dignitaries attended the event, including UFTARA Patron Jai Prakash Panwar, Senior Vice President Dr. Amardev Godiyal, Publicity Secretary Nagendra Prasad, Treasurer Captain Banshilal Kuthial, Joint Secretary Pramod Belwal, Digital Media Head Deepak Nautiyal, Padam Gusain, Mrs. Kamlesh, and Ravi Mangai.
